OUR STORY
Once upon a time in a bright and lively forest, lived a little one named WILD. This child learned through movement and interacting with the natural world. Wild needed an out-of-the-box approach to learning, he came alive in the outdoors, his spirit lifted and he embraced the details around while nurturing his freedom. Another child came frolicking into the woods. WONDER was curious and in tune with his surroundings. Wonder graced the forest with a gentleness and his eyes would light up at the remarkable gifts of creation. His curiosity awakened further with the ability to explore un-inhibited, taking time on his inquiries and problem solving. Both Wild and Wonder confirmed that every child benefits from being true to themselves with the freedom of fresh air and exploration.
Heidi and Kylee were raising two very unique sons that connected with the outdoor world in evidently different ways. They would visit local parks and forests and ponder pre-school alternatives that would affirm their children's gifts and encourage growth of character and curiosity. Together, they came up with a vision of outdoor learning and all it encompasses. The dream inside of them was to create a venue in nature to foster each child's innate desire to learn through natural curiosity and exploration, growing a hunger to learn, be inquisitive and to nurture an overall love for this earth we dwell on.
