Wild Wonder Middles is a mixed-age outdoor learning program for children ages 4–7 who are ready for more independence, curiosity, and connection with the natural world. Designed as a gentle transition between preschool and what comes next, The program supports social confidence, self-regulation, problem-solving, and a love of learning through hands-on, play-based experiences in nature.
This class is designed to support a variety of pathways, whether families are transitioning into Outschool (our home learners program) or preparing for entry or delay into public school. Some parents work alongside their child's public school teachers to pull their child from class to attend one day a week. This 1 or 2 day a week outdoor immersive program is designed for parents who would like to keep that sweet child home and adventuring in nature just a little longer! Our Middles program incorporates all the traditional forest school philosophies. It gives little adventures the opportunity to engage with peers in a social setting, exposes them to team building activities, they will learn about indigenous people that lived on the land they now play on, create nature crafts/art and learn about the local flora and fauna all the while following their own curiosities in nature (our greatest teacher!). email [email protected] if you have any questions |
Please note there is a non-refundable registration fee of $50 at the time of official registration.
We accept Distributed Learning funds and can invoice your program. |
